Since 1995, QPS has been providing high quality bioanalytical LC/MS/MS contract services to clients around the world from its headquarters in the US.

In 2002, QPS simultaneously launched four additional services - immunoanalytical for protein drug concentration determination; protein biomarkers/biochemical markers determination; ADME (Adsorption, Distribution, Metabolism, and Excretion); and Autoradiography. This represents the first step in the linear integration of QPS services from bioanalysis to IND-enabling AMDE studies to biomarkers studies supporting both preclinical and clinical PKPD correlation.

In 2004, QPS established an Asian presence by opening a state-of-the-art, bioanalytical LC/MS/MS facility in Taipei, Taiwan, offering strategic solutions to Asia-Pacific Rim companies as well as US-based companies with sites or trials overseas or simply want to off-shore studies in Asia. Systems, processes, and the procedures developed and fine-tuned in the US were transferred and implemented in our Taiwan facility. Although integrated, each facility retains its local identity and local responsiveness, allowing sponsors to choose the QPS location that best fits their global needs. In total, QPS operates 37 mass spectrometers worldwide, which allows us to effectively complete trails of almost any size. Bioanalytical assays are validated in compliance with the latest FDA, OECD, and MHLW Guidance.

In 2006, QPS-US launched a genomic biomarker services targeted at toxicogenomic studies and SNP determination for patient stratification. With the addition of this genomic biomarker services, QPS strives to provide a more comprehensive biomarker offering for translational medical research.

In 2007, QPS acquired Bio-Kinetic Clinical Applications, an early phase clinical research organization, headquartered in Springfield, MO. The combination of QPS and Bio-Kinetic provides an exciting proposition for our clients for QPS to seamlessly transfer compound knowledge from discovery to preclinical stage into early-phase clinical research.
