TISSUE DISTRIBUTION AND MICRO-AUTORADIOGRAPHY

Micro-Autoradiography is a useful tool for visualizing the location of radiolabeled material at the cellular level.

Typically, samples are cryosectioned at 1-10 microns and exposed to photographic emulsion. Samples are then developed and analyzed at the microscopic level to determine the precise location and distribution of the radiolabeled material.

QPS has perfected the technique of cryosectioning under darkroom conditions to provide optimal results. This technique is used extensively in neurobiology, pathology, toxicology, pharmacology, entomology, botany, material sciences and many other disciplines to answer basic research questions.

QPS was the first CRO to offer this service and is the leader in the field.
