QPS TAIWAN STAFF

Vincent Yen, MBA, joined QPS-Taiwan in 2003 as President and CEO. Prior to joining QPS- Taiwan, Vincent served as a Sales Director at Gillette Taiwan Inc.and Regional Sales General Manager at Unilever China where he was in charge of sales, marketing, and distribution for northern China. Vincent received his BS in chemistry and MBA degrees from the FU-JEN University in Taiwan.

Alex Chang is Vice President of Marketing and Sales of QPS-Taiwan. Alex has more than 20 years experience in sales and marketing for an international chemical/pharmaceutical compan and is currently responsible for business development in Asia.

Andrew Nen, MS, joined QPS-Taiwan in 2003 as Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining QPS, Andrew served as a Vice General Manager at Li Chang Investing Co., Ltd. and at Sagittarius Life Science Co., Ltd. where he was involved in IND filing and regulatory meetings with the DOH as well as grant application with MOEA. Andrew received his MS in pharmaceuticals from the National University of Taiwan.

Yi-Jin Chiou, PhD, joined QPS-Taiwan in 2004 as Director of DMPK. He has also served as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacy at Taipei Medical University in Taiwan since 2002. Prior to joining QPS, Yi-Jin served as a Pharmacokinetics Reviewer at Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) in Taiwan and R&D Scientist at Genovate At CDE Taiwan. Yi-Jin was responsible for reviewing pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic documents of NDAs and INDs, providing consultation in pharmaceutical R&D, and participating in establishment of regulatory guidance. At Genovate Taiwan, she was in charge of overseeing clinical research projects, preparing clinical study protocols and reports, and identifying potential new drug products. Yi-Jin received her BS degree from National Taiwan University in Pharmacy and also earned her PhD in pharmacy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Sandy Pan, MS, joined QPS-Taiwan in 2005 as Biostatistical Specialist. Prior to joining QPS, Sandy served as a Teaching Assistant at Ming Chuan University and a Research Assistant at Institute of Biomedical Sciences Academia Sinica. Sandy Pan received his MS in Public Health Biostatistics from Yang Ming University.

Megan Lin, MS, joined QPS-Taiwan in 2007 as Research Scientist. From 2003 to 2006, Megan served as a Clinical Research Associate at Taiwan Sankyo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and from 2002 to 2003, worked as a pharmacokinetics specialist for Protech Pharmaservices Co., Ltd. She received her BS in pharmacy from Taipei Medical University and an MS in clinical pharmacy from National Cheng Kung University.

Ning-Ning Yang, MS, joined QPS-Taiwan in 2003 as Senior QA Auditor. Prior to joining the company, she was with Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where she was involved in various scientific assignments in Analytical Chemistry and DMPK. She received her BS in pharmacy from Taipei Medical University and an MS in pharmaceutical sciences from Oregon State University.

Moris Teng, MS, joined QPS-Taiwan in 2004 as Staff Scientist. Prior to joining QPS, Moris Teng held the position of Assistant Research Scientist at Protech Pharmaservices Corporation. Moris Teng received his MS in analytical chemistry from the University of National Sun Yat-sen.

Melisa Chiu, MS, joined QPS-Taiwan in 2004 as Staff Scientist. Prior to joining QPS Melisa held various positions at Protech-Pharmaservices Corporation including Assistant Research and Group Leader. Melisa Chiu received her MS in bioengineering from the University of Tatung.

Katherine Lee, MS, joined QPS-Taiwan in 2005 as Staff Scientist and is currently serving as Research Scientist. From 2003 to 2005, Katherine Lee held scientist positions at Virginia Contract Research Organization. Katherine worked as an associate researcher for Advpharma Science and Technology company during 2001 to 2003. Katherine Lee received her MS in Bioengineering from the University of Tatung.

Joe Chen, MS, joined QPS-Taiwan in 2006 as Staff Scientist and is currently serving as Research Scientist. From 2002 to 2006, Joe Chen held Assistant Manager position at Numen Biotech Company. Joe Chen received his MS from the National Tsing Hua University.
